windandwateryay! the second line got installed in my room! now i can go online whenever i want and not feel bad about blocking my relative's phone line! wai!
hiss! now i have to pay for all the installation and the service charges, *and* the monthly phone bill for local calling service.
i was really hoping to not have to work while i'm a 1-L, but i guess it's unavoidable now. the best i can hope for is some flexible job on campus, or at least nearby. something low stress and requiring very little brain activity.
on a seperate note, i went to see Signs with my cousins tonight. i liked it. it made you think about stuff, plus it had just the right amount of suspense and creepiness. and, yes, i did make startled squeaky noises while i was watching. i wasn't the only one. bi-dah!
and on a related but totally me note, i'm so into GW and yaoi that it's freaking scary. why? because in the first panning shot of the movie, we see a photo of Mel Gibson wearing preists clericals. and at that moment, what went through my mind was: "Damn... so black clericals *can* look sexy on brown-haired men."
then i wondered what duo maxwell would look like when he was older. and still wearing the clericals. and *damn* mel gibson has some blue eyes... :::wink:::
