guess who badgered her father into buying her a new laptop? go on. guess.

it's a Sony VAIO, natch. ultra-portable, Pentium III running at 1.6 (i think), 256 MB RAM, 30 GB harddrive, DVD-ROM/CD-RW. plus, it's got one of those nifty Slim-Docks, so that the laptop isn't really heavy to carry around. it also came with Windows XP, Word, and i have some nice music programs and image editing software.

i'm so fricken' cool sometimes. the only problem is getting used to Windows XP (which i personally think sucks ass, but i'll learn to use it). now i just need to customize my new laptop (his name is Solo... yeah, XP lets you "name" your comp) to all my anime specifications, download Winamp, Winzip, and all my other cool things.
plus i need to shift everything off Youdamnbastard's harddrive to Solo's. >_< i can't afford to lose all my mp3s! i'm considering buying a USB port replicator and those portable memory things. they're on sale at Circuit City. anyway, once i transfer all my stuff, then i can burn it all off onto CDs and stuff.

oh! now i have to buy a thing of CD-RW disks... i guess i *do* have to go out shopping, since they're on sale at Circuit City, too.
