windandwater... before i'm sufficiently drugged up and passed out tomorrow. and because, dammit, i remembered to do this *now* and will probably forget if i don't.
1) OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT -- Yes, I *will* be attending Anime Expo. for all four days, natch. me and aoi-chan got a hotel room and everything. though how we're going to pay for it remains a painful and potentially bankrupting mystery. this leads to...
2) Oi! IRASEMA!!! you're going to AX, ne? with your sisters, too? want a place to crash? the hotel room was freakin' expensive and me and aoi-chan are willing to let others crash in the room... for a fee, of course. plus, we'd be willing to escort a bunch of AX con virgins around. and speaking of the con....
3) yes, k-chan, you can visit me. i expect my book back, and my goodies. :::fangirl glee::: however, call first. and i probably won't be talking much since i'll be drugged up and missing teeth. damn the swelling. i'll *try* and have your duo plushie finsihed, but no promises. little bastard's arms are giving me problems. oh, and i'd like my scarf to be red and silver. but not fire engine/whore red. like, a brick red or deep scarlet. and do they even *make* silver yarn? oh well, we can talk about your knitting prowess later. also...
4) since you go around chinatown a lot, have you seen a white mao suit? you know, a chinese outfit (frog-closure jacket and drawstring pants) like the black one i own? or at least white gi pants and a black belt? i'm contemplating cosplaying Wufei since i can pull it off with little fuss. i'd need to get the blue tank top and bracers, and black slip ons ('cuz the ones i have are half a size too big and really ratty), but that shouldn't be *too* hard. especially if you could get a hold of 'em for me. and on the cosplay note...
5) oi. aoi-chan. did you ask your sister about the boots? that way, i can cosplay my beloved Van-sama, too. that leaves my much loved GW pants for whatever day we go to the yaoi panel. and i've got the GREATEST idea for a shirt to go with my pants. :::fangirl laugh:::
6) there is no zechs in the champagne room.

Date: 2002-06-20 12:44 am (UTC)3) Deep red and silver. The silver may end up looking a bit gray, but uh... I promise it's silver... *coffcoff* Well, I'll look for a very silvery looking one.
Book, check. Goodies, check. I do hope I remember them. My daddy may be picking me up, rather than me taking the train. That will be a nice change. Wonder if he'll drop me off, too. Then I don't have to worry about train schedules.
Oh, and don't stress over Duo. You know I'm a patient person. I eventually get what I want. ^_~ j/k, I know you've got enough worries on your mind. I do want you to know that I read a Grisham novel and thought of you, though. Especially the part where the lawyer said, "I'm not required to shut up," during the trial. I could just see you doing that.

Date: 2002-06-21 12:12 pm (UTC)okay, the room for AX was about $135 per night, for a total of $405 (all three nights), not including taxes. aoi-chan said that we would be getting one king size bed and a roll-away, so i think everyone should have a place to sleep. anyway, me and aoi-chan have shared a bed before, as we are very small asian girls.
it really depends on whether *you're* paying for the room, or if we're gonna split it between you and your sisters too. the tax is the tricky thing, since i don't know how much it's gonna come out to. we'll just smuggle you lot into the room so the hotel doesn't know we've got like, five people in one room.
so... maybe around $150-$200 per person? that should cover everything. i don't know. i'm drugged up and can't do math.
