And here's your explanation, oh wonderful flist.

I have come into the possession of a $65 Visa giftcard, to use for whatever I want. It is a delivery refund from Lowe's when we got our new washing machine (the old one died in a horribly messy fashion). My mom apparently doesn't want to use it for anything, so she gave it to me. Unfortunately the giftcard expires in September (wtf such a short time), so I have to use it up before then.

I also happen to have a $25 giftcard to Target, which was a birthday present from my cousin. I was planning on using it to buy Guitar Hero: On Tour for my DS, since the $25 would pretty much cut the price of the game in half. See, because I want Guitar Hero, but not enough to pay a full $49.95 for it. >__>;;

I originally thought I'd used the $65 card on clothes, since my wardrobe is kinda of lacking these days. x__X;; But I could totally buy a bunch of other things that I haven't been able to buy for months and months because I have no monies (zomg manga). Or I can buy a little of this and a little of that. @__@

Satu: *has the game guide open over his lap and reading frantically* Okay okay... there's a treasure crate in the far right room, but you should kill all the Nightmares in the room first. They drop some good stuff.

Sanyu: *gives a nod and has his character throw himself into the fray rather recklessly!*

Sanyu: *jerks a little bit as he plays, eyes narrowing as he focuses on slashing through his enemies!*

Satu: *speaks up for the both of them~* Don't tell us that Dante finished Empire Souls II already?! Did he get all the Secret Files? I bet he hasn't beaten the secret character yet! We're leveling up more to take him on!

Ri: *is just a little bit amused by this*

Sora: *laughs and is amused too, and steps forward to ruffle Satu's hair and kiss his head*

I dunno, but Mama's gonna be the final boss if you guys don't get in here to eat dinner.

Ri: *hauls himself off the floor with a smile, and gives a stretch* You heard Mama, boys. And really, he's way harder to fight especially when it concerns food.

Satu: *squirms from the kiss, but is still at the age where it's kinda-okay; and then he kicks Sanyu's rump lightly* There should be a save point up that ramp, but get that treasure crate you missed!

Sanyu: *cheers when he busts that crate open* YEAH! We can make that Optimal Weapon now!

Sora: *gigglesnort* "Optimal Weapon"? What a goofy name for a weapon. *will give Sanyu kisses too ^o^*

Sanyu: *squirms and must pipe up to defend his blade!* It sounds weird, but it has the best stats in the game. It takes forever to collect all the forging materials for it! This is the last thing we needed! And it looks really cool, too! You'll see, Mama!

Satu: *nods and flips through the book to show Mama the spread on all the dreamblades, and especially Optimal Weapon and its amazing stats!* See! See! Look at the attack and defense it has! Better than Promise-Maker and Forgetfulness!

Sora: *is very engaged in this, and looks over the spread with much interest!* Well that sounds cool... *mumbles* Still not as cool as SOS Shell, though... *grins and goes to fix the plates full of pasta and rolls and CARBS*

Ri: *is busy filling up glasses with water or juice or milk and such* Just remember that I don't want you two to keep playing for hours. Finish your homework after dinner, and then you can play until bedtime.

Satu&Sanyu: *make general whiny noises but settle down in their seats*

Kira: *there's is a loud thudding noise from upstairs but this is normal, because Kira is pounding on Rikka's door* PAOPAO TURN THAT OFF AND COME DOWNSTAIRS FOR DINNER.

Sora: IAWTC. Boys, I need you to hang up your clothes in the closets. They are not carpet. *takes his usual seat towards the middle of the table*

Paopao: GO AWAY. I'M COMING. *and the music turns off and a boy that resembles Rikka comes out, his eyeliner removed and his hair falling in soft waves instead of its usually forced flip, wearing lounge-y clothes* What's for dinner, did Mam- Mom say?

Kira: *makes a little 'hmph' noise and follows after Rikka* Food. Because food is always for dinner!

Ri: *has gotten the booster seat for Baby (because she is small for her age) and helps Riku settle her, before they take their own seats* Hey! I don't want you two arguing during the whole meal.

Rikka: See, this is why I should get an early dorm. *points at Kira, and has a seat between Satu and Sora, happy to see the huge basket of rolls and immediately stakes his claim over it*

Sora: *is busy with making sure everyone has some of everything*

Kira: *sits next to Baby and straightens out one of her pigtails as she makes a face at Rikka* You're too lazy to move in early. Plus, you'd be here all the time anyway for the free food.

Ri: *tries not to roll his eyes at this familiar conversation, and snags a roll from under Rikka's hand*

Sora: And my baby is welcome here whenever he wants. I still don't see why you have to move out, Rikka. You and Kira have the top floor almost completely to yourselves, and you know you have free reign within reason in this house. And not to mention the 3,000 munny it would save. >__>;;;

Rikka: *fights over those rolls! he claimed them!* I am not too lazy! And Mom, you see what I have to deal with.

Ri: *it was JUST ONE, he raps the back of his butter knife across Rikka's fingers quickly, then retreats with his prize* Sora, we all moved out once we could. Just be happy that Rikka's not rushing for a fraternity like I did.

Sanyu: *slurping up his noodles* Haha! If Rikka doesn't like us how is he supposed to deal with all the people at college? He'll go crazy!

Ri: *oh, it's on now, and he duels Rikka from across the table with one hand, eating with the other* Are you calling your Daddy a loser, baby bear? Maybe then baby bear should get a job like Papa and Mama and Daddy did when they moved out and went to college~

Sora: *okay, he's so not in the mood for this, and slams his fork down, standing up*

THAT'S ENOUGH. If it's not Rikka vs. Kira, it's Dad vs. Rikka, or Sanyu and Satu vs. Kira and I. HAVE. HAD. IT. I'm going to take my shower, and you all are going to finish your dinner and get along.

*and leaves to go to the bathroom to do so*

Rikka: o__o *just kind of... stares, and puts his roll back in the basket*

Satu&Sanyu: o___o *froze in the middle of eating, their cheeks puffed outwith food*

Kira: o___o *was helping Baby with her spaghetti*

Baby: .................. Mama is cranky.

Rikka: *mumbles a little and tosses his napkin onto the table* No kidding. 's all Dad's fault. *stands up* Well, I'm not hungry anymore.

Sora: *is in a very sour and sad mood and would just love to be left alone*

Ri: *isn't very hungry anymore either, because the atmosphere has gotten a bit tense, but Rikka barely ate very much* Rikka, please sit down and eat a little more. You don't want to put the meal Mama made to waste.

Rikka: *has a sorrowful look, and turns to go upstairs again* Wouldn't want to eat food I didn't work for, Dad. I'm sure you all can finish it. Mom... makes the best spaghetti. *gives you all a little strained smile and climbs the stairs softly*

Ri: *sighs a bit because he was just teasing you, and gives Riku a Look to hold down the fort/dinner table while he gets up and follows Rikka*
