I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND IT. I haven't been in the past couple of years (damn RL), but YCon is one of the more low-key cons, and I tend to go more to meet up with online friends and have fun than do con-type activities. But it's very fun and open, and BRING LOTS OF MONEY IF YOU WANNA BUY A BISHIE AT THE AUCTION.

The website will have more info on everything else like the guests and such.

By low-key, I mean that I usually hang out in the lounge with my friends and talk instead of going to the panels and stuff. XD;; I have fun either way and the dealer's room has tons of doujin.

And uhm, you can usually get a bishie for sure for $100, though some go for $40-50? You can do whatever you want with them (within reason)! Though, usually everyone goes to the dance after the auction, or artists get bishies to draw them, etc.
