It really does. I'm surprised that in this trailer you had that scene with visible blood splattering everywhere. Squeenix (and the FF games) tend to avoid that, so this game might have a higher rating than usual.

I think Versus is supposed to be the dark side of FFXIII. If I am not mistaken you can choose between the two sides.

What I'm NOT looking forward to is FFXIV and beyond. I hear they are scrapping everything that makes Final Fantasy "FF" and starting from complete scratch. No more Cid character, no more Biggs and Wedge gags... That's going to suck.

Is that what it is? I heard that all the games are in the same 'universe' but otherwise not connected to each other (except for the theme of 'crystals'). Because FFXIII is supposed to have the traditional FF gameplay, while Versus XIII is more KH-ish.
