I warned everyone that today was a spamming day. ♥

Anyway, I've been meaning to pimp this out for a bit, ever since I found out about it myself. It's called Silver Jewelry Club, and it offers just exactly what sounds like: quality silver jewelry.

Free Sterling Silver with real Gemstones, no catch, no gimmicks, no obligation.

Yup, that's right, you can get the jewelry for FREE, and all you have to do is pay $5.95 for the shipping and handling. I consider that a pretty reasonable price, considering what you're getting. This is run by a legitimate jewelry company called Peora, mostly as a way to advertise their jewelry, in hopes that if you like their free products, you'll actually buy more jewelry from them.

It's set up like this:

One their webpage, four pieces of jewelry are available for ordering at one time. They also have a little timer (for 15 minutes), which is how long you have to order each piece before you can't anymore. I think it's pretty nifty, yes, they're going to give you the jewelry for free, but you have to catch what you want to order first. XD! Thankfully, there's a "Coming Up Soon" page, which shows you the pieces that will be making it to the front page for order, and you can sign up for an e-mail alert when it shows up.

What I like is that the jewelry they offer comes in many styles and options. You'll usually see gemstone pendants, as well as earrings and rings. I saw a pendant in a style I liked the other night, but I wasn't in the color/gem that I liked. But, just 15 minutes later, the same style with a different stone appeared (and so I ordered it). I really like the variety, and I get a bit of a thrill when I see the items, since you do only have 15 minutes to snatch something up before it's gone. It's like watching an eBay auction, but without the fear of being sniped at the last second.

Of course, if you do miss out on something you really liked, you can order (and pay) for the items from Peora, or you can wait and stalk the Free Jewelry page for it to come up again. They rotate through the pieces they offer, though I've been stalking and haven't seen the same exact piece come up twice yet.

Oh, and one caveat (besides the 15-minute time limit) is that for rings, they only offer one size. The descriptions for all the offered jewelry are given, so if you see a ring you really like, make sure it's the right size for you. ^^ They usually seem to offer rings in size 7, but that changes, too. Best to be on the safe side. Payment for the shipping is through credit or -- and this is what made me squeeful -- PayPal. I've had a bit of extra cash lingering in my PayPal account for a long while, and I splurged it all on the orders I made at the beginning of the week. ♥ My orders have already been shipped, too, so now I just have to wait for them to get to my house. ^___^ Oh, and for everyone on my flist not in the US, they ship internationally, too! I think the shipping fee is a couple dollars more, but that's still better than paying $50 for one piece of jewelry.

I think this is a GREAT bargain (practically a steal), especially since it deals with quality jewelry. Even my mom has heard of the Peora company, and if my free jewelry comes in and is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, I'll be sure to order from the main Peora website as well.

And I'll keep getting the free jewelry, too. XD ♥ For all my friends, if you start getting lots of jewelry for presents on holidays, you'll know why.

Whenever I see free promos like that, the pessimistic retailer in me feels that they can't last very long... XD; But it's very neat. And looks like lovely jewelry.

Yeah, I feel kind of pessimistic about it sometimes, too. And suspicious. But they're doing this and still a viable company. My mom saw Peora jewelry for sale on HSN (Home Shopping Network), so they must be selling enough to be able to give other jewelry away for free.

I was thinking that, too. That maybe it's overstocked or past-season items. But I checked on their regular website and the pieces are still for sale. Then again, all they have for free is the silvery jewelry. The probably make more money off of gold.

Plus none of the gemstones are very valuable - stuff like topaz and zircone, while pretty, isn't the same as rubies or sapphires. I've spent the last hour scrolling through the free silver stuff and none of it retails for above $70 dollars anyway.

... Which isn't to say I haven't snagged eight items so far already. >>

That's true, but I doubt they'd give away diamonds for $5.95. XD! But I also have a soft spot for amethyst and garnet, which show up alot. I mean, when it was my friend's bday in January (birthstone: garnet), I couldn't find ANYTHING garnet to buy her that wasn't waaaaaaay out of my price range. I finally got lucky when I went shopping with another friend, and we split the cost.

And ahaha... it's addicting almost, isn't it? Even if it isn't the rarest of gems, it's still a pretty damn good price.
