... ack, just realized that I mighta messed up after your response, if the 'redheads' line meant to imply he was in Gerudo valley, and then I went and plopped him in the fire temple... XD;;;
Uh, sorry 'bout that! XD;;;

"You're not doomed! Really!" Link protested. "It's good as new, see?"
As he held it up to prove his point, a useless gesture both since it was clearly not good as new and Sheik had already looked at it, Navi chimed in with a second, "Hey! Listen!"
"Not now," Link repeated, more concerned with proving that he wasn't really incompetent, despite having no proof to back up such a claim.
"... Actually, you may wish to listen to her," Sheik commented, looking not at the sword but up. Link followed his gaze, noticing now the rumbling noise that was steadily growing louder.
Both young men jumped backward as the mountain's excess boulders fell, landing on the bridge where they'd been standing moments before and destroying the structure, tearing it down into the lava below. Smaller rocks were flying everywhere, and Link held an arm up to protect his face. He failed to consider that it was the arm holding the Master Sword until one of the smaller boulders hit his hand.
There was a little "sploosh" as the Master Sword landed in the lava, and Link was able to only watch while it slowly sank beneath the surface.
"... Yeah, okay," Link admitted once the noise ceased and the rocks had stopped falling, "now we might be a little bit doomed."
