So, I went to the grocery store afterall because I needed more tampons and ice cream srsly. There was a sale on Ben & Jerry's 2 for $6... >_>;; Well, I never was one to pass up a sale. And I got myself some BBQ ribs and caesar salad for tomorrow's lunch/dinner. And a little bottle of milk, because I want hot cocoa, but not made with water. And the cocoa in the cupboard comes with tiny little marshmallows.

Cashier was a girl, and she didn't blink an eye at my purchases. Bagboy was a boy, and he looked distinctly uncomfortable as he put my tampons in one bag, then all the ice cream in the other. >:D I am pleased.

Also, as I was getting to the checkout, some lady in front of me was bitching about how everytime she went to the store, the lines were huge. Then she got in the Express Checkout line (15 items or less? whatever), which happened to be the longest line. I went around her (I had a basket and she had a cart), walked further down, and got into a practically empty line. Only one lady in front of me, and I wasn't waiting even five minutes before it was my turn and then I paid and was out the door.

Honestly, if the lady had just looked she would've seen all the short lines farther down. But I guess it's easier to just wait in the closest line for 20 minutes, instead of walk five feet to get into a shorter line.

I usually get out of the store faster by going through a regular line instead of at the fast checkout.

Me too! I ALWAYS avoid the express line unless it's like... pay day and the other lines are full of families buying their monthly groceries. I usually don't have to wait long.
