Yes, some people really DO have too much time on their hands. Movie Body Counts does just that, lists the body counts of particularly violent movies, with scene-by-scene breakdowns, character breakdowns (for the particularly bloodthirsty), and rather strict standards. ♥ This site is a great place to get lost in.

The best part? The movie with the highest bodycount is Return of the King, which has twice as many deaths as the #2... The Two Towers. XD! And The Two Towers has twice as many deaths as the #3, some movie I haven't seen called "Equilibrium." Yaaaay for orcs being canon fodder~!

equilibrium is a KICK ASS movie with christian bale in it. think of kinda Farenheit 451 crossed with the stylings of the Matrix. it also has sean bean in it....he who played boromir in FOTR. equilibrium has this ultra cool scifi ideal of using guns in unique ways and calling their practice of it "gun katas".

i highly recommend it.

equilibrium is a cool action version of the whole slightly-depressing 1984-type story. it's great, as long as you're good at suspending belief in the whole "physics" thing. and really, what anime fan isn't?

What I like is that Akira makes it onto the list of high bodycounts. Akira, himself. I forget what rank the anime itself is at.
