Son of Recap Man: It doesn’t, you know. You might be able to see Earth from Gaea, but you sure as hell can’t see Gaea from Earth. Why is that?
Intro Chick: Maybe if I had finished watching Escaflowne, I’d know.
Son of Recap Man: Then again, maybe not. The POINT being --
Intro Chick: Right. It was like a vision -- or a dream -- the silent king, and the mysterious knight, coming together for a destiny neither could ever foresee --
Son of Recap Man: Do you have to be so damn melodramatic?
Intro Chick [ignoring him]: And then, of course, there was the dragon...

“A motley group of rebels, dangerous?”
If the envoy was at all affected by King Heero Yuy’s skeptical tone, he didn’t show it. “Aye, Your Majesty. They are lead by a traitor who used to be one of the best knights in Elto. He’s very cunning and strong, and the rebels he leads are ridiculously loyal to him. They are, indeed, a threat to your kingdom and any other that they trespass upon in their rampage.”
“Your concern is touching,” Heero said sarcastically, but his attention was arrested by something the man had said earlier. “A rogue knight, did you say?”
“Yes. They say his skill with the sword was unparalleled, and that he was even the King’s Champion and the Premier Knight in Elto before he committed this treason.”
“Champion, eh?” Heero mused, then shook his head. “All right, so one of your pretty knights took a band of troublemakers and ran off. What do you want Yusankyo3 to do about it?”
The messenger ground his teeth against the flat disdain in Heero’s tone; what kind of country put an insolent brat of sixteen on the throne, who couldn’t even show proper respect for the representatives of other kingdoms? He had been many years a diplomat, though, and not a hint of his contempt for King Heero showed in his velvety-smooth tone. “The traitors have already passed the borderline into Yusankyo, Your Majesty. To be blunt, we would appreciate your aid in tracking them down and returning them to Elto’s justice.”
“I see.” Heero shifted on his throne, then turned to the side. “Jay,” he called, to one of his advisors; “correct me if I’m wrong, but we don’t have an extradition treaty with Elto, do we?”
