They say his skill with the sword was unparalleled, and that he was even the King’s Champion and the Premier Knight in Elto before he committed this treason.” “Champion, eh?” Heero mused, then shook his head. “All right, so one of your pretty knights took a band of troublemakers and ran off. What do you want Yusankyo3 to do about it?” The messenger ground his teeth against the flat disdain in Heero’s tone; what kind of country put an insolent brat of sixteen on the throne, who couldn’t even show proper respect for the representatives of other kingdoms? He had been many years a diplomat, though, and not a hint of his contempt for King Heero showed in his velvety-smooth tone. “The traitors have already passed the borderline into Yusankyo, Your Majesty. To be blunt, we would appreciate your aid in tracking them down and returning them to Elto’s justice.” “I see.” Heero shifted on his throne, then turned to the side. “Jay,” he called, to one of his advisors; “correct me if I’m wrong, but we don’t have an extradition treaty with Elto, do we?”
