Fucking pastels...

On one hand, I am happy because I actually did go out shopping. I managed to buy a few things (a pair of cropped pants and some tank tops and a shrug as well as feminine essentials yay), bought three new volumes of manga (DNAngel 7, Saiyuki 8 and Yami no Matsuei 5), got a cool bed pillow thing so I can sit up (at 50% off!), AND had a tasty Panda Express lunch that will also be dinner (since I can never finish the 2 item combo at one go so I always make sure it's to go).

However, I am greatly displeased that my shopping didn't go as well as I had hoped. Everything just seemed either:

1) Too thin (like sheer nightie thin)
2) Horrible patterns/colors
3) White
4) Just not my style

It's no wonder that I only bought a few things. I think I might take the time to go to the Old Navy on Market (I die a little inside as I say this). Even if it's horribly preppy, I actually saw things that I LIKED and would WEAR there. Plus, there's always sales.

I think I'll skulk about in my shirt and jeans. That's always classic, right? Right?

This is why I haven't bought anything clothes-wise lately except jeans from NY&Co. The colors burn my eyes, precious.

Well, Old Navy isn't so bad. They have solids. And, you know, non-eye-searing!prints.
