A Busy Day... relatively

windandwaterYou know, there are days when I'm really glad that I drink coffee.
Of course, it has now been proven that the Grande does nothing for me. XP Though, I was happy because the barista filled up my cup to the brim, and put lots of foam and caramel, so it's MUCH better than when I get the spill zone at the top. I mean, if I'm going to pay THAT much for coffee, I damn well better get my cup filled to the TOP.
Anyway, the caramel machiatto and the butter croissant really helped to stave me through class, which actually ended early today. I feel a bit bad about missing class on Friday, but we're gonna have a guest speaker. XP I can be "sick" that day.
After class, I trotted off home (or rather, took the bus), then just dropped off my stuff and went out shopping! YAY! Went to Serramonte, and stopped to top off my gas tank while I was there. Jeeze... it's been awhile since I filled up, but I paid about $2.50 a GALLON for gas. I was only down to 3/4ths a tank but it cost me almost $20. >_<;; I'm glad that I don't drive so often or else I would really be slitting my wrists at the pump.
After weeping over the gas, I went in through Mervyn's at Serramonte. The parking is better on that side. XP Also, I needed to buy new socks (white, and also on sale), and picked up some nice over-the-knee socks that will go well for my Halloween costume. AND AND AND! I bought boots! WHOO! They were 50% off, and Mudd, which is one of my favorite brands because they're cute AND comfy. I looked for new Van's sneakers, too, but they didn't have the Classic black Van's that I favor, only the new pastel crap that I hate. I guess I'll have to buy my new pair when I go home for Thanksgiving, as the mall didn't have a Van's store. *grumps*
I stopped by Bath & Body Works to buy some hand soap and air freshener stuff (both Cucumber Melon). There's a nice sale going on with the lotions and things... buy 3, get 1 free. And the soap was 3 for $10 or something. If I had more money, I would've gotten more. Nice, pretty smelling things!
I ALSO whent into Hot Topic (rock!) and they had the black bunny ears that I wanted! YAY! I bought them immediately, so you'll see a black bunny-eared girl at Yaoi-Con. *nodnods* Black ears are SO much cooler than the regular white ones... and they match my hair better. :3 And across from the Hot Topic was the Halloween store, so I wandered through there for a bit. I didn't see much I liked (dammit... I want a whip so I can really be a naughty neko schoolgirl... and handcuffs). I also accosted a complete stranger because she was carrying around the CUTEST TINIEST PUPPY EVER. I feel embarrassed just thinking about it now. She didn't look very happy when I squealed.
Suncoast also sucked me into its PIT OF DOOM (TM), and I was forced to buy DNAngel #4, Saiyuki #3-4, and Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness XP) #1. I barely managed to get out alive. They didn't have Juvenile Orion and I avoided buying Tramps Like Us. *whimpers* After Y-Con... after Y-Con...
Stopped by the pet store, too, and gave the bunnies a pat or two. *^^* They're so cute and fuzzy!
After the shopping, I went to the grocery store for MORE SHOPPING. Eeehhh... I needed food anyway, and cleaning things, and I don't have to cook because I bought dinner there. Booyaka. zania, so I'll pick her up tomorrow night.
Now I need to do more organizing, try to find that skirt, and then sleep. @__@ I can't believe it's almost Friday!
