windandwaterThere's some sort of thing going on at the Cow Palace and the freeway ramp by the house is closed and the streets are blocked off and it took me nearly an HOUR to get back home after I went grocery shopping. x___X Thank goodness I didn't buy that ice cream afterall... it would've gotten melty before I got home. And there were TONS of cops around. I have no idea what's going on, but I saw a LOT of uhmmm... unscrupulous types about.
Needless to say, things like this make me nervous, so I tried to get home as quick as possible. *hugs groceries close*
It's funny... this same time last week, I was dying of the heat and wearing as little as possible, even with the air conditioning on at the house (my room is the hottest in the house, geh). Now, I'm in sweat pants and wearing socks to bed. Hahaha... gotta love that funny weather. I seriously think I might come down with something eventually. I went from tropical heat and humidity, to dry desert heat, and now to... temperate. Blech.
And school starts up again tomorrow. x___X
I got an email that said one of my classes doesn't meet tomorrow, but starts NEXT Monday instead. I need to go over my schedule and see if I have ANY classes at all tomorrow. Even if I don't, I have to head to campus to hassle with the Financial Aid people and buy books and such. *stabstabstab*
I think I'll enjoy my last day of summer while I can.
