Ahahaha... I rock.
Jun. 28th, 2004 04:35 pmI talked to Professor Sompong today to ask about when the paper is due. I got myself a de facto extension until August, just like I have for Professor Okeke's paper. *dances* Now I don't have to freak out about running out of time! Hell, if I get all my research done here, I could even write the paper(s) when I get back home. I am SO relieved.
In other news, there is going to be a group going out to see Muay Thai, or Thai boxing, tonight. I'm not sure if I want to go, since I'm not to big on watching guys pulverize each other and bleed over the mats. But it would be interesting... it's at 5:30, so I guess we'll see. I haven't even eaten yet (breakfast aside), except for a slice of chocolate cake I inhaled before class started. I also need to get my laundry sent out, because I'm running out of nice things to wear to class. XP
----------------------------------
Ah! And who wants a postcard? I have 10 regular postcards with Thailand things on them, and 5 postcards from Cabbages & Condoms. One of each already goes to
zerotwofan because she said she wanted postcards. ^___^
If you want one, please reply, and give your address if you don't mind. I have a few addresses, but they might be wrong or something.
----------------------------------
I need to see how much money I have left. I have a feeling that Koh Samui is going to totally tap what I have left, and I'm still considering going to Chiang Mai, since everyone is reccommending it. I'm not big into trekking, but I might do a one day trek. I would mostly go to Chiang Mai to visit the Thai Silk Village and get the handicrafts from the villages.
Or maybe Phuket or Koh Phi Phi if I want more beach time... and going to find jewelry! I still haven't even gone to Patpong, Yaowarat Road, the Phallus Shrine, or Soi Cowboy and those are in Bangkok!
*runs around crazily*

Date: 2004-06-28 12:05 pm (UTC)That sounds terrific! I really enjoyed seeing the Temple of 1,000 Buddhas in Kyoto. I have a feeling I'll like that card very much. It'll go on the inside of my computer cabinet, where I can see it every day. ^_^
