So... I wrote my professor abotu not going to class, so I managed to get a bit extra sleep. I had to wake up early enough to shower and catch the bus. Property was meeting at 12:15 because we were going to watch Amistad and it's a long movie.

I went to McDonald's to buy supersize fries and a medium Coke to eat during the movie (and to get a bit of cash). I managed to make it to my locker to get my books and down to the 2nd floor theater RIGHT before the teacher started the movie.

Amistad is a great movie. Wonderful cast. I had to not watch the beginning because it's very brutal. And I STILL think that music box scene is the most disturbing part of the movie.

Anyway, right in the middle of a dramatic part, the freaking FIRE ALARMS go off. I jumped and nearly wet myself from fear (okay, that's exagerrating). I've never seen law student move so fast. With the first sound of the alarm (we also get flashing strobe and buzzing), everyone GRABBED their laptops first. I was most amused.

We evacuated the building (the fire doors even closed) and stood in front of the school wondering what the hell was going on. We think it was a fire drill though, because two fire trucks showed up, but the fire fighters just sorta started shooting the breeze while we all stood there confused.

Anyway, they let us back in after a bit and we finished to movie. Of course, I missed the end of it because I had to run to Crim Pro and the fire drill threw off the timing. >_<; And I barely read any of the work, but it's okay because I wasn't called on in class. Lucky!

After this, I did Con Law int he library before busting out at 5. I even bought lotto tickets because the parental unit called and because the jackpot is like... $65 million.

Tomorrow I'm going to work ALL DAY on my paper... at least, until I go pick up
