Okay, so I'm sitting here in front of my laptop in a silvery sparkly gown with black beading, makeup on my face, and I'm waiting for my nail polish (also silver) to finish drying.

... and I'm currently trying to figure out where my black heels are, because dammit, I'm carrying a black beaded purse and I have black beading on my dress, and I'm going to be wearing black jewelry (onyx mostly, I think) and I do not own silver shoes and white simply will not do.

Congratulations, it's a girl!

Grrrr... and my parents have been hovering all morning (since last night when they rolled in actually), but I got a good breakfast cooked by my mom out of it, so I think I'm coming out ahead.

But if my dad does something dumb, like actually wear a pair of shorts and a tee shirt to the wedding reception, I think I'll be fully justified in killing him.

I don't need this stress. I've been out of bed since 8:30 and it's a SATURDAY for crying out loud. *sighs* My parents brought me a whole shitload of stuff though, and I don't think I'll have to shop for non-perishible items or hygenic supplies ever again for my natural life. Heh.

Well, I better go try and find my shoes now. And figure out where my pantyhose went.

At least I'm not wearing pink.

Yes, they buy me things. That's one good thing about them worrying about me all the time. They don't hesitate to buy me stuff. Especially food.
