windandwaterI swear, if I'm out of bed tomorrow before 11 AM, I'm going to be killing somebody.
So, Dad barged into my room at 8 AM trying to get me up, and proceeded to return and bother me at set intervals. Finally cralwed out of bed at 9-something when Mom came by and told me breakfast was ready and everyone was waiting for me so they could eat. >__< Damn... guilt trip much?
So I had a nice (if slightly cold) breakfast. I don't normally eat breakfast, but I didn't have to cook for myself, so I'm not complaining.
I was then informed that we were going to Long Beach for the day, then to a birthday party. *sigh* I hate it when my parents don't tell me things like this. So we all got into the SUV and drove to Long Beach.
Plus side? I fell asleep in the car. Yay!
We ended up going to the Queen Mary and taking the tour. It was kinda cheesy and predictable, but that didn't stop me from screaming and clinging to my relatives in fear. I'm such a wuss sometimes, it's amazing. Then we spent the next few hours wandering around the Queen Mary. It was pretty cool. Had lunch there too, being very amused by throwing things at the seagulls.
Did you know seagulls could drool? I didn't until today. o_O*
So after an interesting afternoon walking miles around the ship (with me climbing on things just because), we left to drive to Hawthorne (that's in LA) and visit MORE relatives for the party. It was one of my cousin's 8th birthday, so I got to reconnect with my father's side of the family (I'm around my mother's family most of the time, especially up north).
At least I got to see one of my goddaughters. Actually... *thinks* ... my only goddaughter. The other three are boys.
Anyway, my younger cousins were all huddled around the Playstation, playing Kingdom Hearts. *squee!* Great graphics! I also bullied them into fighting Sephiroth so that I could see him.

I believe that Sephiroth manages to kick so much ass because the soundtrack was on his side. It was a retooled version of his FFVII theme... you know, all the chanting in Latin with "SEPHIROTH!" interspersed in it? And his character design KICKED ASS.
Also made them fightSquall Leon, so that I could see the utter Laguna-ness of him. *___* Didn't get to see him use Seifer's Limit Break, though. Oh well.
So, after eating and lounging with the family (also played with my aunt's v. cute puppy), we went home around 8:45.
Now I'm online, and there is happiness here.
