*shakes off the lethargy*
Jan. 1st, 2003 09:42 pmI think I've been glued to a TV all day. *shakes head* Something about New Year's Day just screams for you to camp out in front of the TV until the brains dribble out of your ears. Maybe it's because most people are hungover and can't do much besides stare at a TV.
Oh yeah, and the football. Can't forget the football. ^_^
Actually, I started out watching the "I Love the 80s" marathon that was on VH-1. >__<;; It's amazing how much I remember about the 80s. Of course, it's my damn decade so... heh. And I'll admit it... I wore acid washed jeans. And Day-Glo. And had crimped hair briefly. And I was in love with New Kids on the Block. *shivers in horror* I actually had a craving to listen to some REO Speedwagon... then I slapped myself and changed the channel.
I'm currently engrossed in the Iron Chef Marathon. But it's the Astonishing Upsets Marathon, and it's just getting damned depressing to see the Iron Chefs lose over and over and over again. But, I did make a realization while watching...
BOBBY FLAY IS A PUNK.
I'm not afraid to say it... he's a damned punk and I just wanna... punch him in the nuts or something. He couldn't stand losing to Morimoto and sobbed about it and now he got a rematch. Jerkoff. He didn't deserve to win! Morimoto did! They were just being polite so he wouldn't open his big yap again! Grah!
*deep breaths*
I'm okay... really I am.
If there was a Trading Spaces marathon or a BattleBots marathon, I would be in heaven.
Hmmm... I'm going to see if I can bang a couple of lines out tonight. My prose has been so damn crappy lately that I haven't been bothering. But I'm in a good mood, so I might as well see if I can exploit that and try to write something.
*switches channels to the "Whose Line Is It Anyway" marathon*

Date: 2003-01-02 02:07 am (UTC)Amen to that! What a whiny little bastard! At least it was glaringly obvious that he didn't win based on merit.
Ehehe. And speaking of food. Your Cloud is on its way from the kitchens. ^__^

Date: 2003-01-02 05:19 pm (UTC)Of course he didn't win based on merit... he won so the Japanese could save face or something. Plus... I really couldn't stand how he tossed away the chopping board to stand on the counter. >_< So unsanitary! And... punkish!
... And Cloud is very delicious. *lick*
