[Scene: The Sanctum]

[Duo strolls into the Sanctum, hands shoved in his pockets. The Writer is seated behind her desk, fussing with the piles of paper on it.]

Duo: Yo, Writer!

Writer: [looks up blearily] Oh. Duo.

Duo: [snorts] That's some greeting. [stops abruptly] What's *that*? [points]

Writer: [looks down at the chibi!InuYasha in her lap] He's chibi!InuYasha. Isn't he so kawaii? [huggleshuggleshuggles]

Duo: [opens his mouth, but doesn't say anything. He thinks of something else to say besides "shouta"] You don't look so hot. Whatcha call me in for?

Writer: No sass from you! The bunny queue is in horrid shape... I've been reorganizing it again.

Duo: [winces] That's not my fault.

Writer: Did I *say* it was? [sighs] Look, I think I came up with some semblance of order, I just need some details.

Duo: [nods] That's what I'm here for, Primary Muse and all.

Writer: Hmmm... Yuy is still in Castle Anthrax, correct?

Duo: Yup. We've been hanging out.

Writer: You mean making out. [Duo blushes] Well, obviously, you have no problems working with him. [scratches something down on a legal pad] Okay... considering that Heero's gone for the time being, I'll set Yuy up with you for that Untitled fic...

Duo: It *still* hasn't got a name?

Writer: [glare] Not my problem. Your fic. Your title.

Duo: [waves his hands] Not *my* fic either. It was Heero's! I guess Yuy could come up with something though. [leans over the desk, his hands flat on the tabletop] Wait wait wait... what's *THAT*?

Writer: [poleaxed, grabbing papers so that Duo can't read them] No! That's not important! Give that back!!!

[Duo snatches the paper out of her hands and reads it. His eyes widen and his face starts to turn red]

Writer: I *told* you not to read it. [takes the papers out of Duo's lax grip]

Duo: You're not *serious*, are you?!

Writer: What?! You don't think I can do it?!

Duo: You've still got that half-finished PWP on the drive...

Writer: This is *different*!

Duo: [arching a brow] How so?

Writer: It... it... it... it just *IS*! Besdies, it's got art... [shoujo bubbles]

Duo: [bats away shoujo bubbles] You're a sick, Writer. Just sick.

Writer: Ha! At least I'm not killing anyone!

Duo: [shivers]

Writer: Okay, I think this is good. I'll be e-mailing off the new plotbunny queue. Make sure everyone's working, ne? I want to take advantage of my good mood! [huggles chibi!InuYasha]
