windandwater: (Ritsuka Poison)
Am trying to build up the willpower to walk to the grocery store to buy stuff to cook dinner. Not that I need to, but I'd like to have lasagna tonight. With breadsticks or garlic bread. Maybe a caesar salad. And some nice cheesecake for dessert. Or something. But probably some sort of pasta that sounds like "lasagna." The fact that Coldstone is right next to the grocery store has no bearing at all on my decision. Eeehh... it's still early anyway and I just woke up a bit ago. I can go after I eat something.

As long as it stays sunny and clear and doesn't rain. If it starts to rain again, all bets are off.

... wow, it's dead today.

In other news, it is still nice and sunny, so I'll be going to the grocery store in a bit. ♥

Tonight's Dinner Special Features:

~ Caesar Salad topped with crisp Romaine lettuce, three shredded cheeses, croutons, and rich caesar dressing
~ Lasagna with Meat, cheese, and a savory Marinara Sauce
~ Garlic Bread
~ Triple Chocolate Cheesecake

So I didn't buy ice cream from Coldstone or get a side dish. STFU. Ironically, the cheesecake took up pretty much half the money I spent. I could've gone without, but I've been craving cheesecake for some reason. It's probably hormones. And my mom called my cellphone pretty much the minute I got back home. She's bringing home the GoF DVD. Yay. She's also stopping by the (other) grocery store for a few other things.

You win, mom, really. XP

Anyway, the lasagna is in the oven and needs to cook for 50 minutes before I take the plastic off, turn it, and slip the garlic bread in, too. Yum yum.

On another note, I totally need to start exercising. Walking to the store, shopping, and walking back carrying the groceries totally winded me and now I have a mild headache. =__=;; I didn't even walk fast. Then again, my normal walking speed has been said to be faster than most when I am intent upon something and not just strolling aimlessly. Of course, the fact that it was windy and colder than I thought didn't help, as now my nose is kinda runny. Or maybe I should've had more to eat for lunch than chicken tenders, Mountain Dew and a Cadbury Creme Egg. But at least I beat the stormclouds home. And I didn't have to run or anything. Also was not heckled or honked at by people in cars; but I owe that more to the fact that I was dressed in baggy sweatpants and the Red Sweater of the Apocalypse and therefore looked like a boy from behind.

*takes a much needed lounge for a bit*

So...

... mom's not having any of the dinner I'm cooking tonight. She's having leftovers from the other night instead. I'd say I'm surprised, but I'm not. I'm too used to stuff like this happening. More lasagna for me then.

Now let's see if my dad rejects the food, too. Then I get to have it all for myself.

EDIT...

I seem to be spamming today. XP No apologies.
