My first day in Chiang Mai -- not even 24 hours, since I got here after 1pm -- and I've pretty much spent all my money. And now, even my bank account hates me, because I've been using my check card and made a withdrawl from an ATM.

Well, I DID say that I was coming to Chiang Mai to shop, and shop I have done... and gotten the things I wanted, too. Tommorrow, I have a full day of sightseeing lined up, so I shouldn't need to worry about spending money, as long as I avoid the Night Bazaar in the evening. Gah... this place is worse than MBK! And I leave at 4pm on Sunday, so I'm going to see Doi Suthep (a big wat on a hill with over 300 steps to the top) in the morning. There's a jade factory there that was highly recommended to me by others in the program who have been to Chiang Mai already, but I think I might avoid that.
I wonder if you can be murdered by your wallet? I guess I'll find out tonight when I sleep. XP
Anyway, I don't want to waste TOO much time here in the internet cafe, so I'll cut this short. Details about my trip will have to wait until Sunday night, when I'm back in Bangkok.
