New Day, Same bullshit
Apr. 17th, 2003 10:51 amWe finally got through the Executive Privileges and Immunities chapter (natch, our cases were US v. Nixon, Nixon v. Fitzgerald, and Clinton v. Jones). Now we're moving into Due Process rights. *half-hearted cheer*
As a classmate said: "It's amazing how [the professor] has the ability to take a subject that's interesting and make it so damn boring."
*sighs*
In other news, I want to go back to sleep. It's a damn good thing I went to sleep early (by my standards) last night. My cousins, et al, came back from their trip to Vegas at 1 AM. I got a good hour of sleep in, before I had to haul myself out of my nice warm bed to see who all was there. I guess my other cousins (ie: the family of the one who's having a birthday) will be staying the rest of the week and over the weekend.
... Rhodora is probably going to bother me to watch X:3. Not that I mind, but I was planning on doing things tonight since I'm going to lose my weekend. I still haven't bought presents either, and 18th birthdays are a big deal.
Note to self: Go to ATM and withdraw cash. Also, buy birthday cards.
I guess this is karma for having the house all to myself for a majority of the week.
I need to find smut to read. It'll make me feel better.
