new glasses for me

windandwaterw00t! i just got back from LensCrafters and baby's got a new pair of glasses! yup yup, my vision *did* get worse (mostly in my right eye, but my right eye is worth shit anyway) so now i've got a brand-spankin' new prescription and a brand-spankin' new pair of eyeglasses. i like being able to change my vision in an hour.
plus, i don't think it would constitute as flirting, but i was talking with the eyeglasses guy. he was filipino and totally FOB, so that made us practically family. he was helping me pick out my new frames (titanium frame, sorta metallic dark blue color, rectangle-shape), so we were doing the small-talk "oh my god i'm so blind so i need new glasses and these ones are too thin, can you unlock that shelf so i can so those" thing. finally got these ones, which i like... especially since they come with clip-on sunglasses! whee! now i won't have to go blind when i drive anymore (btw... aoi-chan, i *will* be fuuma for AX, since i'm taller than you and i can wear nifty fuuma-ish sunglasses).
well, i dunno how it happened but with the frames and my lenses (polycarbonate, or else my lenses would be god-awful thick), the bill ran over $350. but the glasses guy gave me a 30% discount! O__O i guess it *does* pay to be friendly. :::giggle::: i got new glasses at a discount!
urm... nothing else exciting has happened to me today. i did the dishes, though. and i need to fold my laundry.
