Let's keep track:

+ I have Advent Children Complete!
- Had to go to two different Targets on opposite sides of the city for it.
+ Got it for only $7, instead of $30.
- Started my period.
+ Bought lots of tasty McDonald's to chow down on.
+ Didn't have to use my own money for it.
+ Got two free collectible glasses!
- Cramping.
+ Showered!
- Ran out of nice smelling lotion.
+ Spent time with [personal profile] aoi (since she drove me around today).
- Still bleeding.
+ Still have more chicken nuggets and french fries to eat later!

... yes, I think I'm reasonably ahead for the day. :D!
windandwater: (Not Supposed To Be Here)

2) Furries? In my Congress? It's more likely than you think! Auuuuugh. Why a pedobear. Wryyyyyyyyyy??? And he's on LJ, too!

3) I need to get my hands on Advent Children Complete LIKE BURNING.

4) E3 didn't suck this year!

5) I'm hungry.

6) I wish I could afford the PSP Dissidia bundle from GameStop. T___T

7) WTF. It suddenly rained today, and the weather's been cooling down all week. It'll be in the 60s by Friday. I'm getting freaked out since last year at this time, we were in the scorching 100s. Well, at least the electricity bill is lower since we're not running the air conditioner.

8) ... a corollary to #6 sort of: I wish I could afford all the DS games that I want to buy. Like Henry Hatsworth, and Shin Megami Tensei, and everything else. *sigh*

9) Still hungry.

10) ... I've got nothin'.
windandwater: (Oro?)
There are things I've been meaning to post about but I'm lazy.

And hungry.

But I don't know for what. Something salty. Augh.

I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day weekend. ^^ Mine went reasonably well, considering that I cooked dinner, and my mom actually liked the present I gave her (which was inexpensive! score!). For those who are nosy and like to know, here was my menu:

~ Baked Spiral Sliced Ham (with honey glaze)
~ Cornbread stuffing
~ Steamed baby potato and vegetable blend
~ Apple pie with Cinnabon frosting

Not too adventurous, but it was only the three of us since my Aunt and her family were elsewhere and didn't spend the day at our house.

On another note, I went out shopping (or rather, looking) with Aoi on Saturday, during one of our regular 'stop being a hermit' outings. At the mall, we saw a woman who was dressed rather inappropriately. Just from the way she was dressed, I knew two things upon seeing her:

1) She wasn't wearing panties

2) She waxed her nether regions.

How did I know this?

Her pants were that damn low.

I swear, as she walked by, it was like a car crash. Me and Aoi both wondered if her pants were just going to drop straight off. It was horrible in a traumatizing way. Do people just not look in mirrors anymore? DON'T YOU FEEL A DRAFT?!

Courtesy of WalletPop, I give you yet another list of free things for you to take advantage of! All dealing with food!

Mars Corp is giving away 250,000 every Friday for a free candy bar. How is free chocolate not a good thing? Be careful though because there's reports that the servers have been crashing as people try to get their coupons.

♥ For the nurses on my flist, you can get a free Cinnabon during National Nurses Week, which is 5/6 through 5/12. Lucky you.

♥ And for the foodies and/or people who just like to cook get yourself some free recipe booklets. Most are downloadable!
windandwater: (LJ -- All Your Friends)
KFC is giving away free grilled chicken today!

It's to promote their new grilled chicken (as opposed to the traditional delicious fried stuff). You just go to a KFC today and ask for a piece of chicken. You don't even need a coupon. Though, while you're there, I really do recommend their mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. In fact, you should buy something to go with your free chicken. XD;;
windandwater: (blah blah blah by celest)
I've got links accumulating here that I've been wanting to pimp out, but I keep forgetting. XD;; So I might as well consolidate and put it all in one big post, right? Right!

♥ First of all, for the foodies on my flist (or wanna-be foodies like me), you can go here to sign up to recipe 8 free recipe booklets. I love recipes since I can make practically anything as long as I have a recipe to follow. There's a good selection of choices here, from bread baking recipes, to seafood, to cooking with wine. I signed up to get all of them. XD;;

♥ Now for a bit of humor... Uncomfortable Plot Summaries. Exactly what it says; plot summaries of a bunch of movies and books, in a very uncomfortable fashion. Some of my favorites include:

-- 300: Gays kill blacks.
-- Highlander: Elderly immigrant destroys property.
-- Harry Potter: Celebrity jock thinks rules don't apply to him, is right.
-- Lord of the Rings: Midget destroys stolen property.
-- The Golden Compass: Critique of Catholicism upstaged by polar bear fight.

XD;; Joss ends up on the list for pretty much everything he's ever done, too.

♥ Now, because everyone loves zombies and literature, have Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It's Pride and Prejudice, but with zombies! I BET YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING. I want to read this, if only for the opening line.

"It is a truth universally acknowledged that a zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains."

♥ This has been passed around, but I'll link it, too, in case anyone hasn't read it. Why Aren't People Commenting On My Post/Story/Whatever?

♥ Oh, and since we all love food around here, this is the perfect way to end this post: The Fandom Recipe Book. I still haven't downloaded it yet (because of my slow-ass connection), but everyone says it's really good.

... and now, time for lunch!
windandwater: (Yami Bakura is a hot girlfriend)
Too bleh to write coherently, so I will resort to my love of lists, since I'm thinking of a lot of things.

-- I GOT MY GAIA ACCOUNT BACK WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! One month and two days, and I finally have my account back! Everything has been returned (the hacker pretty much only took my older-than-December-2003 items, which are the priciest), though I am strangely missing a good chunk of my inventory (like regular clothes). As far as I can tell, the hacker (and I know who it is because the Bank keeps the trade records) sold off my higher-priced clothes for gold.

So now I'm missing my full purple Pimping Set, and my high boots, and my Fairy Wings. *weeps* I'll have to buy those back, as well as my other clothes.

-- Because it seems to be the thing to do: President Obama's first 100 hours in Office. If you're interested further, the BBC is tracking The First 100 Days. Whoo global perspective.

-- I baked chocolate chip cookies yesterday. ♥ Also, we have those refrigerated crescent rolls in the fridge, so I made some, but I put shredded cheddar cheese in them before rolling them up. They were very delicious! I also tried putting some ham inside (we had ham for dinner the other night so I just sliced a bit of it) along with cheese and it was ALSO DELICIOUS. ♥ I love food so much.

-- My neck finally feels better! Still twingy if I turn my head too far to the left or right, but it's definitely not horrible. I am so happy.

-- I must highly recommend Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon. I've been playing it for the past week and it is so much fun omg. Not only can you grow crops on your little farm and tame monsters and woo the eligible bachelorettes, but there's an RPG-aspect to it, where you can fight monsters in the dungeons. There's also a plot! AND I HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN INTO THE SECOND GENERATION YET, WHICH HAS EVEN MORE COOL STUFF.

I'm not rushing though. I am at a quandary because one of the girls I want to marry is Cecilia, and she 'automatically' gets married in the second year if you don't marry her first. But there's another girl I might want to marry, Dorothy. If I marry Dorothy then I can have a wicked threesome with her and Barrett -- the town's 'bad boy' son of the Mayor -- since Barrett is Dorothy's default husband. The imaginary threesome option is not open with Cecilia because her default husband is Jake, who hates me. >_>;; But Barrett is my best friend!

I suppose I can just use the other save slot, but there's no option to save your game in the other spot; i.e.: keep my current progress until the marriage, then split saves from there. I'd have to start all over from the beginning again. Not that it's such a bad thing, as the game is fun.

-- I think I'm done for now.
windandwater: (Zack -- Que Sera Sera)
Yesterday ended up being a good day.

Even through I was dragged out of bed at 7:30am for church (when I'd only gotten to bed at the new 2am which felt like 3am) -- wherein the priest gave us a politics homily and read off how the Bishops wanted us to vote about three of the Propositions (I only agreed with one of them) -- I was able to take a bit of a nap after we got back home. And watch MythBusters. Whoo.

Then I went out with [ profile] aoi and Pet and we met up at Ontario Mills as usual. Mostly dinner and window-shopping, though there was much browsing of clothes and shoes and video games. It was fun. ♥ And I bought myself a box of Krispy Kremes. After that, Aoi and I swung by [ profile] chibi_faolan's mom's house, since we found out K-chan was actually in Mo Val for a day BUT DIDN'T TELL US. She could've had dinner and hijinks as well. But we hung out and I was able to pet the cats, who did not attack me for once.

There was some politics discussion, which was inevitable considering the current climate. However, it reminded me to pimp this out, from [ profile] doortoriver. It's a very well-thought out and well-referenced post/essay from a conservative Christian who is voting for Obama. There's discussion of various points that have been hotly debated/smeared around during the campaign, and includes analysis of McCain and Palin as well. With sources.

Also, I hope [ profile] ontd_political keeps going, because I enjoy Shennanigans Friday for the macros.

Now I am going to omnom some Krispy Kremes and throw a load of laundry into the wash.

And it's freezing cold and this makes me an unhappy bunny.

My layout is back! ♥ Much thanks to [ profile] sharona1x2! And of course to [ profile] driftingdoll for making me this layout that I love. ♥ ♥

In other news, I am doing laundry. I might bake cookies later if it isn't too hot. Fucking weather. It was a cold snap for all of three days, but now it's another heat wave. Well, I guess that'll be good for kiddies walking around outside on Halloween. Though, it's usually cold and dark by then. Let's see how the weather is this year. 8D;; Go global warming!

I actually went shopping today and bought things. Things like clothes. ♥ Okay, actually, I needed a dress for one of my dad's Trecenian events. It's next Sunday and in the afternoon, and all my dressy clothes are... evening wear and super-formal. x__X;;

So I went shopping (with the parental units), and picked up 3 dresses: one for the event, one casual/everyday, and then a nice black dress because for some reason I DO NOT OWN A BLACK DRESS. Yeah, shocker. I also got two pairs of shoes, one to go with my event dress (red leather heels!), and another pair that's gray suede but can be dressy or worn with jeans. The gray ones I would've gotten in red, too, but they didn't have my size.

Plus, everything was ON SALE. Like, 50% or more off. And for my mom's dress, she was able to get another 10% off because there was tearing around the zipper, and it was the last dress of that type left.

There was another supercute dress that I wanted, but they only had a size 4, which I could wear. But I wouldn't be able to breathe, eat, or move in it. I really wanted it though, as it was also one sale. ;__;

An then In 'N Out for lunch. Yum yum.

Okay enough babble. I need a shower.
windandwater: (Tea with Demyx)
Another day, another job fair. *sighs a little* Though, I do have my resume in at the company my aunt works for. I'm hopeful that I'll get an interview. x__X;; Main good part about today is that I had a double-double from In 'N Out for lunch (and a caramel machiatto from Starbuck's this morning).

Oh! But I ran into (not literally) an asshole driver on my way home. I was in the fast lane and doing a good 70/75 m.p.h. which was the flow of traffic as the freeways were pretty clear from Ontario to Riverside. Now, I was driving the SUV, and I don't like to drive too fast in it since then it sucks up gas like a bitch. I was pretty much cruising along and the asshole suddenly shows up in my rearview mirror and is practically on my ass.

I was like "whatever bitch", because I was getting into the part of the freeway where cops usually hide so they can nail speeders. I went up to 75 then stayed there, and this guy was still all in my rearview. Finally, the other lanes opened up a bit, and he switched to the second lane and I said to myself: "He's going to try to speed up and overtake me and get into the fast lane."

So, naturally, I stepped on the gas. :D!

I went up to just above 80, and passed this slower car in the second lane who had previously been some ways ahead. LOLZ. The asshole got stuck behind the slower car and I cruised by, and he got annoyed and switched back into the fast lane behind me. Except this time he was practically kissing my bumper. I sped up to nearly 85 just to get him off my ass and put some space between us, then I took my foot off the gas to slow down, as Riverside and the interchange was coming up. |D;;

I smiled the whole time he was behind me.

He finally switched lanes to get to the 91, and I laughed as he sped up past 80 in the second or third lane (I was back to 70 again since I hate fast braking in traffic), then had to slam on his brakes quick as he got stuck behind a bunch of big rigs and trucks that regularly bottle that side of the interchange. I almost waved at him as I zipped by free and clear in the fast lane.

Oh, and I just ate two vanilla mochi ice creams. They are so delicious. Like little clouds melting in my mouth. ♥

Just a little news/geekery roundup, since apparently, I am a news source. XD;;

-- Don't forget to get your legit Deoxys from GameStop. It's happening this weekend and next, all you addicted Pokemon fans.
-- Toys R Us will have its annual Buy Two Get One Free Sale for Nintendo DS games next week. This is a good way to build up your game library if you've been waiting... but sucky because all the new games are coming out in like, July. LOL.
-- The Spore Creature Creator comes out today, for all you guys who like to create your own creatures and such. There's a trial demo version that's absolutely free and has about 25% of the full version's stuff, so you can have fun messing around with that.

And on a personal note, I have spent most of my giftcard already. ^^;; I bought:

-- Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. Of course I did. :P
-- Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories Official Strategy Guide. So I could get the free shipping. Strangely enough, this hit my doorstep today but the game is still in transit.
-- A new cute top, since I wanted to buy clothes.
-- A pair of denim crops, to go with the top. >_>;;
-- A wing charm necklace, to round out my order. I think it's pretty.
-- And I think I still have like... $4 left on the giftcard. XD;; Maybe I'll buy a smoothie. GAMES, CLOTHES, AND FOOD. I DID IT AAAAAAAAAAALLL.

Randomly stopped by the Fresh and Easy market to see what they were all about because it's next door to the Longs Drugs. It's a nice enough place, but while I was browsing the bakery section, a lady randomly walked past me, paused and said: "I really like your haircut!"

I said thank you.

#^^# It made me feel all happy.

And then I went to KFC to buy delicious, artery-clogging chicken, because I have a craving. Lunch time~!

-- My booster bracer on Trickster ran out. It's was a 15-day 1.5x bracer that I got as a prize so it's no big loss, but still. Boo. I didn't use it to its fullest extent (like how I was grinding for a full 3 hours in a Royal party with my EX bracer), but I'm not too upset. I managed to level anyway.

-- This is where I'm be playing during the boycott. If you're curious. Nothing much there yet, but I found some tools to help me migrate my journal entries and such. I'm not leaving LJ wholesale yet, so don't worry.

The weather is bad today. It was gloomy yesterday but it rained overnight and this morning, so today is very cold and dreary and windy. The sun just came out a bit ago once the wind really started picking up, but I doubt that will last long.

In other news, my dad has the flu, so he's been staying home. Ugh. Thankfully he hasn't been harping at me all day or anything. I've been trying to steer clear of him, but this morning I woke up with a bit of a tickle in my throat. It still hasn't gone away. DX I'm hoping it does, because I CANNOT be sick next week. I CAN'T. I WON'T ALLOW MYSELF TO BE.

I've gotten through my re-review of Wills, Trusts, and I'm halfway through Evidence. I'll hopefully be starting Crim Pro/Crim Law later this evening and tomorrow. Ugh. My brain feels like it's fried. But I will persevere.

I am craving Krispy Kreme donuts (original glazed) and In 'N Out burgers (plain hamburger) something awful. I don't know why.

I wanna take a nap. ;___; Nooooo have to keep going. Argh.
windandwater: (blah blah blah by celest)
A quick post in the middle of me pondering prohibited beneficiaries in Wills, because my brain hurts.

-- Working on waking up early this week! Or trying to, at any rate. Have noticed a significant increase in my caffeine intake as a result.
-- I forgot today was a holiday. Thankfully, my dad hasn't bothered me all day.
-- Am currently munching on Welch's Mixed Fruit Dried Fruit, and it is ohsodelicious. It's a mix of pineapple, cranberries, cherries, apples and raisins. I usually don't like dried fruit too much because it tends to be dry and hard and not taste right, but this stuff is awesome. It's somehow still moist even though it's been dried, and has just the right amount of sweetness (not candy sweet). I'll have to buy more when we go grocery shopping again.
-- My feet are cold, even though I'm wearing socks. ;__;
-- My brain is still tired, but I'm still plugging along.
-- For some reason, I want pasta. Maybe I'll have some for dinner.
windandwater: (Mistress Sera)
I want to eat a black&white cookie so bad.

When I was in MUN and we went on our trip to New York (twice), I picked one up at the nearby deli during lunch to see what the fuss was about. I fell in love. It was unlike any other cookie I had ever had, and after that, I pretty nearly ate a cookie every day from that deli. Then when I went back to NYC the second time, one of the first things I did (after sleeping off the jetlag) was to buy a black&white cookie and eat it. It makes me sad that it's a New York or East coast thing. I can't find the cookie anywhere here where I live, and... well, I'm too lazy to bake them myself (even if I could find a perfect recipe). And there's no way I'd pay like $40 for a dozen of them from a company that does such things.

I guess it's how I only eat rambutan when I'm in South East Asia. I got hooked on them in the Philippines and noshed on them while in Thailand. I think they'd be my favorite fruit, but I only like them fresh. Or, as one of my uncles pointed out once to me, when they're stolen (we were on a family trip and apparently he filched a bag of rambutan from a street stall while we we stopped; he gave them to me and my cousins, and I devoured most of them and told him they were the best ones I'd ever had -- they were). XD! The stuff that you can get here in the US is in cans with syrup (like canned peaches or pears) and just tastes wrong. Unfortunately, rambutan doesn't grow around here. T__T

Why must tasty food always be such a trial to get ahold of?

Grrr rawr

I want chocolate. Why is there none in the house? Wait. There's brownies. That will do.
windandwater: (LJ -- All Your Friends)
I was a bit busy today. Whoo~ I'm at the library at the moment, but before this not only did I wait in the drive-thru at McD's (to the dude 2 cars ahead of me, stop hassling the girl at the window! You, fucker. You took so long! JUST TAKE YOUR FRENCH FRIES AND GO.), and I got to stand in line at the post office to return a package for my mom.

And, you know what? I know this is the era of online bill paying and email but. But. Lady. You stood in the line in front of me, and talked to a clerk, and took up like... 10 minutes of his time. To buy one $0.41 stamp. GUH?! Yes, you have a letter you want to send. That's wonderful. Were you not aware of the vending machines in the lobby, directly in front of the doors, that sell... get this... STAMPS?! *headdesk* I had to return a freaking package and it took me all of a minute once I told the clerk I wanted it returned to sender.

In other news, I'm making the transition to wearing my contacts most of the time (now that I have them), instead of my glasses. Wow. I have peripheral vision again. Things are not quite focused for me (especially when I read things), but that's because my eyes have to get used to them. But I can already tell that these contacts are much better than the trial pair I used before, since these are specifically for astigmatism. Things aren't fuzzy around the edges anymore! And I can read signs while driving! Yay!

Oh, and for anyone who wants to know: I'm lvl 119/105 on Trickster now. :3 I leveled up last night and am pretty much gonna camp Captain Skull until 120 (since that's his cap). After that I can grind up my level more, and consider going after Tombeth and Tenter Lion. Bwhehehe. I just wish Skull dropped Ultimate equips more often. ;__; I hate these Chaos ones.
windandwater: (blah blah blah by celest)
... or otherwise in the order that I remember them in. :P

-- Nearly got stuck in traffic yesterday. I forgot that they were doing construction and that the road narrowed to one lane, and was coming through at 4:30. But no, that's not the bad thing. The bad thing was that, in front of me, two guys were being retards in their suburbans (okay one was an SUV) and wouldn't let the other pass when the lanes merged. So, of course, they ended up smashing their sides together. Well, more like scraping since things were moving slow. I was a few cars behind the accident and didn't see it properly, but I DID see one guy get out of his car and start waving his arms around and hollering at the second guy. I had that 'oshit' moment... and then I wondered if there was gonna be a fistfight. XD! FInally one guy was on his cellphone ranting, and we all got around the two HUGE vehicles that were blocking the road by going around on the shoulder.

-- As I was driving, I saw a car with a license plate that said 'SPRMN8R'. That's right. Sperminator. It was a van. I don't care if that's not what it's supposed to mean, that's what I mentally translated it as.

-- I had forgotten how good baked potatoes with butter, bacon, and cheddar were. *____* I will have to remember this for the future.

-- I finally have my contact lenses! I picked them up from Lenscrafters yesterday. But I also had to pick out new sunglasses frames, because they couldn't grind my lenses right with the ones I chose. Bleh. I hate having such a high prescription. Oh, and I also got a new bra from Victoria's Secret, for 50% off. They're having their Semi-Annual Sale right now, so if you want stuff for cheap, now's the time to go.

-- On Saturday, the first parking lot for BarBri was full, so I had to drive around to the second. It is seriously scary, and not lighted well (mind you, class gets out after sunset). And the only access to the lot is through a rape trail. That's right, a narrow corridor of stairs (one person at a time) between two big storage warehouse. With no lights. >_>;; You bet your ass I lingered after class to see who also parked up there, and went with a buddy.

-- My buddy also watches things like 300 and Gladiator during lunch. She says the violence makes her happy and less depressed, since most people study more during our break. I agreed with her. And watched over her shoulder. :3
windandwater: (blah blah blah by celest)
... that means unrepentant fucking around on the internet! And maybe some studying. >_>;;

Also, the McD's isn't going down so well. Ohnoes. Maybe it's been so long since I've had so much grease at once, since I've been trying to save money by not pigging out on fast food pigging out on fast food. OTL

But the french fries taste so good...!

I forgot today was a holiday (Veteran's Day) so both my parents don't have to go to work. Also, my dad is a veteran. Well, technically they both should be home, but my dad disappeared somewhere before I woke up. Mom is still here though, and I'm doing my best to avoid her. >_>;;

I wanted to go to Aoi-chan's and play Trickster. ;___;

So anyway, now I've got a little cornish game hen baking in the toaster oven (works marvelously and I don't have to use the regular oven). I'll probably bake those brownies today, but right now I'm eating M&M's.

A fair warning: I have either skipped one of my periods entirely, or I've managed to stress myself into being VERY late. I'm getting backachey, but not doing much more than that, and it's making me abnormally cranky. x___X I'd rather have the period.
windandwater: (LJ -- All Your Friends)
So, I've decided that I'm going to cook the Chicken Parmigana from Bertolli for my dinner. Yay for one skillet meals. Also gonna toss the last garlic bread loaf we have in the freezer into the oven to go with the pasta. Mostly gonna do that so the oven helps warm up the house. >_>;; I'm also gonna see if we have brownie mix or something to bake, to keep that oven going.

Or I could, you know, turn the heater on. Decisions, decisions.

My parents also just left to do their weekly gambling thing. Maybe I should see if Aoi is home so I can raid her internet and do the Anniversary Event on Trickster. Or I can try and go sometime this weekend, so I have a full day of it. I have bajillions of Old Passports. ♥

I am weak. And frozen. So I turned on the heater. ^^;; Threw the bread in the oven anyway, but I'm considering whether or not to make the brownies.

Woke up early for some reason, but not too bad. Of course, this means I had an early lunch, but that's good also. I still have to print out things for tomorrow, and do some last minute review. That means that Pet can finally have my Little Witch Beff pet (since she's leveled up enough to equip it). Everyone is overtaking me in leveling. T__T Saw Aoi for a bit and she unloaded a bunch of quest items I need for the Caballa Key Quests. Fat Dragon is fat.

-- [ profile] springkink is being very disappointing this round. Not alot of stuff I wanna read. It seems like the 'surprising' fandom/kink this time around is Transformers pr0ns. Last time is was Ninja Turtles. Hopefully more fics I wanna read will come through. The ones I HAVE read are damn tasty. Unf unf unf.

-- Am I the only one who likes Vincent/Cloud and permutations thereof? I mean, yes, Zack/Cloud is damn near canon, and I like Sephiroth/Zack/Cloud, and sometimes Sephiroth/Cloud (Shinra days, not when Seph's psycho). But really. Can't there be more fics where Vincent and Cloud cure their emo by humping each other? :/

-- ... snakes on a Sasuke. *gigglesnort*

-- I really want some sort of pastry. Maybe pie. I'm not sure. Some sort of baked good definitely, and not necessarily pastry.

-- I don't care that everyone is rebuilding society in Edge/Midgar. And finding new energy sources like oil. What I want to know is how the damn PHS service survived Meteor. At first I thought PHS was only for ShinRa people to use, but in Advent Children, it looks like any old person can get a cellphone. Maybe that's how Rufus makes money now. "We can't provide you mako energy raped from the Planet anymore, but we CAN provide you with excellent cellphone service!" I know I, personally, would pay a premium for cellphone service that could survive an Apocalypse.

-- I just stared at my icon for a minute, thinking about how pretty Leon and Cloud are. I should go to bed.

Dad's party yesterday went pretty well. There was tons of food for everyone to enjoy and such. Best part of it was that it was held at the Marine Recruitment Base in San Diego, in the bowling alley/arcade/hall place and the video games were all free play. >_>;; Yes, I spent alot of time in there playing Area 51. :3 I love shooting games.

Also, we had to stop at the BX there, but it ended up being the liquor store for the Base, and thus only had... well, alcohol. I'm not complaining, because I managed to get myself a nice bottle of Chianti. ♥ That's going to be opened for Thanksgiving dinner, so now I'm gonna have to plan the menu accordingly to take advantage of it.

The party ended at 5pm and I, of course, fell asleep in the car. Hey, I'd been up since 6am. Anyway, I woke up when I realized we were heading to Pechanga (one of the casinos around here) instead of home. That made me cranky because 1) I didn't have any money, 2) I wanted to go home, 3) I don't like to gamble most of the time unless I feel 'lucky'. We ended up staying there until midnight, and I was rather DDDD: the whole time. I played alittle bit here and there, but mostly ended up losing. x___X But there was one guy who was playing the $1 slots and won a $10,000 jackpot. O___O And then he stayed playing the same machine, and a couple hours later, won $1500! I WANT THAT LUCK.

Anyway, I crashed once I got home.

And now it is today.

No Trickster today since Aoi had a family emergency. ;__; Hopefully I can invade her home tomorrow.

I'm making wild rice right now. And then the steak and maybe steamed corn. But mostly I want the meat.

Parents still not home. Yay.

And then after dinner, I get to slap Veet on my legs again. :D! Or maybe I'll do that tomorrow. We'll see how I feel after dinner.

Yes, food makes me happy.

I think I hate everyone today.

Or maybe I only feel this way because of:

a) hormones
b) being woken up really early by not only my parents, but the neighbors who decided to mow their lawn
c) being cold
d) all of the above in a hellish combination

At least my parents have left for the day. And I'm going to have a nice slab of steak for dinner. I have it all planned out in my head. Now I'm going to go be antisocial and maybe read old fics that I know are happy, so that I don't keep getting blindsided by the angsty/horrible/heartbreaking ones.
